Yesterday Kyle Bush won the Richmon 400. I thought he was going to fade away like he has for most of the season. It would have been nice for Kyle to have finished around 15th only because I didn't have him on my fantasy team this week. Kyle dominated the the first half of this race. Then the team made some changes and the handling went away a little. He slipped back and ran around 5th for the next 180 so laps. Then on the final restart he muscled by Jeff Gordon (who was on my fantasy team) and dominated the last 10 laps.
What I expected finishers:
Jeff Gordon (2nd)
Kevin Harvick (3rd)
What a shame finishers:
Tony Stewart (23rd)
Mark Martin (25td)
Was not expecting that fnishers:
Juan Montoya (6th)
Marcus Ambrose (9th)
Next week the racing will be at Darlington.

The Michigan race is in two days. All I want to say is rain rain stay away. I'm having withdrawels from not getting to watch the race the last two weeks. So I say to mother nature. Please keep the rain away this weekend.

First off. Juan's speeding penalty toasted my fantasy nascar picks. I had him picked and was rocking the week right up to that point. But at the same time I'm a Jimmie Johnson fan so it was a win lose type of weekend.
I'm asking the same thing that Ray E. was asking during the post race. Why didn't his crew chief or spotter say Juan you have a five second lead. Make sure to be 500 RPM's under the speed limit. If he had that kind of communication then he would have made history and got his second nascar sprint cup win. Besides that Juan's team is looking good and if he gets into the Chase it would be awesome. The Ganassi/Earnhardt organization doens't have what it takes to compete with Hendrick or Stewart/Haas this season but next year my be Juan's year.
Johnson/Knaus Lowe's team. That sums it up. The Lowe's Team for Hendrick is a team. They perform as a team each and every week. Jimmie and Chad both know it and understand it. Scary part is that usually this team doesn't start running this good until the 1st race in the chase. There are 6 more races for them to tune and get better.

Enough said.
But wait. I have more. A few years ago I didn't have an opinion on Jeremy Mayfield. I thought he was a middle pack chaser that had seen better days. Then he went to Evernham Motorsports and continued in his less than stellar career. Then, like a blown tire(bad nascar metaphor), it all just came apart. He and Evernham go their seperate ways, but instead of moving on from Evernham. Jeremy makes the dumbest comment of all time. That Bill Davis Racing had more engineers and a better facility than Evernham. I'm sorry but Jeremy your rose coloured glasses are really brown. Then Jeremy decided to blame his poor racing on Ray Evernham and Erin Crocker. Now he finds himself in the middle of a drug violation with Nascar. What does Jeremey have to say for himself. Helpful advice Jeremy, if you can't say something constructive don't open your mouth. Jeremy couldn't say nothing so he has blamed it on Nascar, his step-mom, the testing facilities, and Brian France, Jr. Wow Jeremy jump on the Democratic parties train while your at it and blame George W. Bush.
If Jeremy ever gets to race again he will not be on my list of drivers to pick at any track. Even if he is the only driver that will be in the race.
